Mt Longonot is 2780m (9100ft) above sea level. and antilopes. The crater has a tree-filled interior and has last erupted in the 1860’s. Mt Longonot park is located only 60km from Nairobi. This makes it one of the most preferred places to go for hiking and a perfect day out from Nairobi.
We will pick you up at 0700Hrs in the morning. The journey will give you a wonderful view on the Great Rift Valley along the way. It will take us about two hours to get to our starting point where we start our climb at 2150m. The hike is set-up in various sections of which the second one is the most spectacular one. At the end of each section there is a resting point where you can prepare yourself for the next part of your journey.
At the top it rewards with Great Sceneries of Lake Naivasha and Lake Elementaita. After the hike there are changing rooms to change from the sweaty outfit. It is also possible to visit Lake Naivasha for a perfect boat ride just at sunset on this day.
