Amboseli National Park covers an area of 392km2 in southern Kenya and belongs to what is considered as the elite of Kenya’s national parks. It’s known for its large big tusked elephant herds against the backdrop views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest Mountain in Africa, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.
